The holiday season is full of cheer, but it can also be pretty stressful keeping up with family get-togethers and paying for all those gifts. Unfortunately, a lot of stress can trigger increased eating and cravings, especially for sugary carbohydrates . If family time (or being away from family during the holidays) has you feeling overwhelmed, work on ways to reduce stress – practice by saying “NO” to one commitment you know you can’t fit it – to keep you on the health and wellness track.
