Give yourself the best gift this holiday season! Kick off November with a resolution to avoid the infamous holiday weight gain. It almost seems a given – especially up here in the frozen north country where we begin our winter hibernation around Halloween – that we will be packing on a few extra pounds over the holiday season. In Minnesota, we joke that we need the extra fat layer to keep warm. But, those extra holiday pounds just necessitate the rash of New Year’s Resolutions to “get back in shape”. What if we just try making a conscious effort to not get out of shape over the next two months?
